Tom Daul

Born in Wisconsin

Artist Tom Daul is originally from a small rural town in north-east Wisconsin. A photographer at heart, he has been taking photos since childhood, specializing in landscape and nature photography. Daul has had the great fortune to have travel around the world exploring places such as Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Central and South America and all throughout Europe.

Daul "went digital" in 2004, after his Nikon 35mm camera was stolen at a hostel in London. He has since come to love the flexibility and portability of digital photographs which are easily printed on paper or canvas (giclee). In summer of 2009, Daul started experimenting with other forms of art mediums. Interest in working with wood, he began making mosaic pieces out of the recycled pieces of an old wagon. While they take time to create, Daul feels that the finished product is very unique and worth the effort.
