Kerry Ann Obrist

Born in Lincoln

Kerry Obrist has been a photographer for 13 years. She has participated in numerous juried art exhibits in Chicago, Milwaukee and New York City. Photography became Kerry’s passion in her mid-20’s when she started loosing her vision. Now legally blind, her photos help capture the images she can no longer see firsthand. A bit of a traditionalist, Kerry favors her trusted 25-year old 35-mm Pentax, but in late 2007, she finally started dabbling in digital photography as well. Her subjects vary widely, but predominantly involve abstract views of architectural elements and sculptures, reflections and shadows.

Currently 10% of the revenue from the leasing of artwork by Kerry Obrist is donated to HELP.
